We are looking to hire a professional (Manager) for our Big Data & Analytics service area. Professionals with 4–6 years of working experience in data analysis and a passion for solving complex issues in an integrated team of data scientists, data engineers, ecommerce specialists and strategy & execution consultants are invited to apply. Our ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of data analysis paired with strong business acumen, particularly in the areas marketing, sales, CRM, e-commerce and/or risk analytics. Managers play a key role in our project teams and take responsibility for the robustness of results, guide and train junior team members and contribute to impactful client interactions.
Translating business questions into tractable analyses with the ability to instantly differentiate between primary and secondary aspects
Disaggregating issues, developing hypotheses, and actionable recommendations that stem from data analysis
Proposing viable technical solutions fully tailored to the client’s context
Preparing and facilitating interactive and engaging workshops at clients
Managing client relationships and delivering projects independently
Leading and driving projects and guiding junior colleagues
Recognizing potential opportunities for follow-up projects
4-6 years’ experience working in data science
Advanced analytics experience in a professional environment
Industry experience in banking/insurance/telecom/retail/e-commerce is preferred
Expertise with a set of analytical tools, ranging from SQL to programming (R/Python), from data wrangling to predictive analytics
Full proficiency in standard machine learning techniques. Confidence in artificial neural network applications is a plus
Experience in working with big data environments and with cloud computing
Fluent in German and English

Based in Munich and open to travel on project demand across Europe
